Terms of Service
Working with us.
Last updated: April 2026
These terms apply when you use the Mind Healing Counselling website, book sessions with us, or receive counselling services. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy. If anything is unclear, contact us at support@mindhealing.online.
Our service
Mind Healing Counselling provides one-to-one counselling and psychotherapy services, delivered by qualified counsellors registered with APCP (Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland) and BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). Sessions are available online across Ireland.
Not a crisis service
Counselling is not an emergency or crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or having thoughts of self-harm, please contact Samaritans (116 123), Pieta House (1800 247 247), or emergency services (112 / 999) immediately, or attend your nearest A&E department.
Booking and payment
Sessions may be booked through our website, through our booking partner (Acuity Scheduling), or by direct enquiry. Payment for individual sessions is taken at the time of booking. Structured 12-session programmes are paid upfront via our payment provider (Stripe); payment plans may be available on request.
Current pricing is shown at the point of booking. Promotional offers (such as our 50%-off first session offer) are subject to their own terms shown on the relevant booking page.
Cancellations and missed sessions
We ask for 48 hours notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, or missed without notice, may be charged at the full session fee. We understand that emergencies happen and will always try to be flexible where we reasonably can.
Your responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Attend sessions you have booked, or cancel with reasonable notice
- Provide accurate information about your circumstances
- Inform your counsellor of any medication, physical health conditions, or other professionals involved in your care, where relevant
- Respect the confidentiality of any information shared with you during sessions (e.g. details of any group content, if applicable)
Confidentiality and its limits
Everything discussed in counselling is confidential within the boundaries explained in your first session. These boundaries are consistent with APCP and BACP ethical guidelines and Irish law. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
No guaranteed outcomes
Counselling is a collaborative process. While our clinical framework produces measurable results for most clients, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Your progress depends on a range of factors including your circumstances, engagement with the therapeutic process, and external support systems.

This site may link to third-party websites (e.g. APCP, BACP, booking or payment partners). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
